No. LIFX Smart Switches work with any standard light bulbs, not just LIFX smart bulbs. They make your existing wired lights smart without replacing every single bulb.

Do they need a hub?

No hub required. LIFX Smart Switches connect directly to your Wi-Fi and are controlled through the LIFX app. Same no-hub philosophy as the rest of the LIFX range.

Do I need an electrician to install them?
