I was very apprehensive when it came to purchasing this mirror because I felt that it was too inexpensive and therefore likely cheap. I was very wrong.

Not only does the mirror have the benefit of having a mirror in the room, but it is a legitimate source of light. I’m able to get ready in the morning using the perfect lighting, not to mention the fun FX that are available in times where it’s not being used.

I would rate this product five out of five stars and more if I could. Don’t be as apprehensive
as I was. Get the product, it’s legit.

The brightness is good. Plenty bright for shaving or putting on makeup. I have several LIFX bulbs with amazing colors and this mirror is no different.
The mirror is also quite large. Mine is installed in the bathroom but it also would do well in a bedroom or main entryway.
The only thing I wish could be improved on is the motion on some of the themes. Some themes when played have very smooth color transitions while others are quite choppy. Not sure if firmware could improve this or not. Also, the anti fog feature designed to clear the mirror when taking a shower works, but is slow, especially if you don’t have an exhaust fan. What seems to work in this situation is to turn the heating element on prior to starting your shower instead of waiting until after. Then when you get out the mirror is already clear.
Something else you can do if you have a smart home is automation. I’m using Apple Home, and have installed a motion detector with presence sensing on the bathroom ceiling. When you walk into the bathroom the mirror turns on and stays on until you leave the room, and shuts off automatically after no presence is detected for about 15 seconds. Not a necessary setup of course, but it does work quite well when getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Overall I’m pretty happy with it.

Love the mirror was easy to set up and came with all of the hardware and wiring to connect either via outlet or directly to the wiring. Like all of the LIFX items I have purchased in the past the set up was easy and gives me many options to adjust my lighting based on my mood. Continue to make great products and I will continue purchasing them.

legit amazing. I got it and hung it myself immediately. My bathroom light sucks. (till now).One recommendation fro LIFX. If you can include a paper version inside that you could unfold and put on the wall to hang with the locations for screws, it would make it much easier. I ended up creating my own but its big so I had to use a whole much of different papers and then try to figure the height

Do the buttons work straight out of the box?

Can the buttons control other smart devices, not just LIFX lights?

Absolutely. The LIFX Mirror is Matter-compatible, which means the customizable buttons can be configured to control any Matter-enabled smart home device — not just LIFX products. Set the mood across your whole room from one mirror.

Does the De-Fog button work as a smart/scheduled feature?

The De-Fog button is tactile only — it activates when pressed and isn't available as a scheduled or app-controlled automation. Think of it as a reliable physical shortcut, always there when you need it.

Can I control the front and back lights independently?

Yes. The LIFX Mirror has four lighting modes — Surface Light (front only), Backlight (rear only), Both On, and Mirror Only — giving you full independent or combined control over how your mirror lights up.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

No. The LIFX Mirror plugs directly into a standard power outlet — no hardwiring, no electrician, no hub required. Connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and you're ready to go in minutes.
