What is LIFX Neon Flex?

Neon Flex is a flexible LED strip that mimics the look of neon signage with soft, even glowing illumination along the entire strip. No fragility, no cost of real neon, and fully color controllable.

Can I shape it into custom designs or letters?

Yes. Neon Flex is flexible enough to bend into curves and freeform designs and works great for exposed linear runs where you want smooth, even light without any LED spotting. Sharp angles aren't its strong suit, so for tight corners a gentle curve will always look better. Mount it directly to a wall or onto a backing board to create signs, outlines, and architectural accents.

Does it support full color?

Yes. SuperColor plus tunable whites, all controllable from the LIFX app. Set it to one solid color, cycle through a gradient, or run dynamic effects.

Can I cut it to length?

Yes, Neon Flex can be cut at marked intervals to fit your exact design. Only cut at the designated points to avoid damaging the circuit.

Does it need a hub?

No hub needed. Neon Flex connects to your Wi-Fi directly and pairs with the LIFX app. Control it from your phone or via Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomeKit.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?
